Keeping Montana free of invasive species! All motorists hauling watercraft MUST stop at the watercraft inspection stations to insure that they are not bringing unwanted visitors (mussels!) along for the ride. The first two stations near Pablo and Browning are opening early this year because of the mild Spring and returning snowbird residents.
So what counts as a watercraft? ANYTHING IN THE WATER!
- motorboats
- inflatable rafts
- canoes
- kayaks
Don’t forget to pull over for the inspection. It only takes five minutes and could save you $135 fine!
